I got a call from a Kelley Cole, saying that she'd spoken to my boss about office supplies. Her company was moving to Hot Springs, Arkansas, and she wanted to get rid of some inventory. I ordered some things from her - pens, post-it pads, tape and tape dispensers.
After I ordered the merchandise, I mentioned to my boss that I had talked to her. He shook his head and said he never talked to anyone about buying office supplies from a company that was moving its location.
I received the order today, with a packing slip - but no cost information. Something about the packing slip, with no numbers, made me nervous. I googled "Tornado Office Systems" and this is the first website that came up. I can't believe I was taken in. Ms. Cole did say that the new name of her company would be TOS, or something like that.
If I am billed, do I have to pay it?
