It does not surprise me that my complaint is one more to be added to the growing list for this Company.
In April I purchased a Directv System from Prime TV. I was told that I would be refunded the full amount of installation in the sum of $140.in June I received notice that my rebate was turned down because I did not include a copy of the cancelled check. I explained to the CSR that I was not advised of this. She told me to resubmit and check back in a couple of days
On July 5th I called Prime TV and was informed that my rebate will not be issued until September 1st. I decided to check back on August 30th. I was told that checks were processed that day and I should receive mine in my hands by September 1st. Given that it was a holiday weekend, I expected the check to be in the mail by today. No such luck.
I therefore called the office of Prime TV only to be told that it would be a further 2-3 weeks before I receive my rebate. On three occasions I was told that a copy of my information was placed on the desk of the Manager for a rush and I will be contacted. I am still waiting by the phone. As if.
To my humble mind this does not mean that my rebate is being processed in 6-8 weeks.instead we are looking at any time between 8-11 weeks.
Please inform the world out there so that others don't fall for this rip off
