Prime TV Does Not Honor Rebates...
After repeated contact with Prime TV to get the promised $99 rebate for installation of a cable system, I finally discovered through the consumer complaints that I could complain to the North Carolina Attorney General's Office. I went to their web site, filled out a simple on-line complaint form, and they immediately went to work. I received my Prime TV rebate unbelievably quickly after the Attorney General's Consumer Complaint division got involved.
Bottom Line: Don't deal with Prime TV to try to get your rebate. They'll lie and stall forever. Complain to the North Carolina Attorney General's Office and you'll get immediate results. I was even told by the Prime TV Customer No-Service rep that even though they could not tell when my check would be mailed, it would be mailed quickly because of the Department of Justice inquiry. I received my rebate the day after that call. Good Luck.
