I was charged with a crime and retained Mr. Bernstein to represent me because of his website which advertises his that he has 40 years of experience. I spoke with his case manager, Art Cortez and explained the whole situation to him and he went on and on about how good Mr. Bernstein is at achieving results, and his extensive abilities, and blah, blah, blah. Well I wouldnt know because I never even met Mr. Bernstein. To make a long story short, I dismissed my original attorney and paid $15,000 for Mr. Bernstein's services. He sent a substitute attorney to represent me who had only been practicing law for 4 years. I ended up with the same outcome that my first attorney had already achieved. Mr. Bernstein's office would not respond to my phone calls or emails and finally sent me a "special delivery" letter full of outright lies as an attempt to justify their immoral and unethical conduct as a criminal defense attorney. Don't hire the services of barry o. Bernstein to represent you!!!
