I had no idea what I was getting into when I signed up for phone service with Vonage. My phone service never worked, and I reported it. They never sent a repairman out to fix it or help me. I told them that I wanted to cancel service, but they told me I couldn't and if I did, they would charge me an additional fee to my credit card.
Please note, I have not used my service because the phone jack does not work either, so my bill should read of zero calls made... Today, I find that my bank account has been deducted $150... I don't use this service, and I did NOT authorize Vonage to take any funds from my bank account. I am sizzling mad, and I reported this to my bank.
Vonage is a very difficult company that likes to manhandle its customers. They do not allow people to submit payments through regular paper bills. Everything has to be electronic. I hate Vonage. I want my money back, I did not authorize them to take money from my account, and they never sent me anything in the mail stating I owe $150. Stay away from Vonage, they are CROOKS!!!
