My family and I were headed out to a 'fancy' dinner (fancy is not hard to accomplish with a 5 year old in tow) and I wanted to get a new tie and links for the occasion. I found myself in Nordstroms looking over their expansive (and intimidating) selection.
After a few minutes the sales person came over to help me. I described to him what I was looking for and he quickly and efficiently came up with a few selections of tie and link combinations. I wound up buying one of the combos and walked out *very* happy.
A few days later, I received a handwritten note from the sales person thanking me for coming in, remarking on what a pleasure it was to serve me, and looking forward to helping me again in the future.
I have been in several times before (with great service as well) but this interaction stood out in my mind. I would always recommend them!
