Don't order anything from this company. I ordered a camera online and then received an urgent call from a salesperson telling me that I had to confirm my order. He then proceeded to tell me that I needed to buy a memory card. I told him that I didn't need one as I already had memory cards. He then Said that the camera did not come with a battery so I had to buy one and of course the $149 battery it required (yah right) would only cost $69.99. I said no that it was too much as I was buying the camera as a gift and had reached my limit.
He then rudely asked who I was buying it for!!! Insisted I had to have the battery and he would sell it to me for $50. I foolishly agreed.
Well, the camera arrived with a memory card and battery included. The additional battery that I paid $50 for also arrived and is a worthless $2 battery for a camcorder. The bill does not itemize and shows the total as "a value package" so you can't return just the battery since it has no value. You can't return the whole package because you have to pay a 20% or $60 restocking fee which would be more than I paid for the worthless battery.
This place is a scam and they have apparently done this same scam to many people. Why are they still in business? I only hope the camera works!
They should be reported to the authorities and to the credit card companies!
