I bought a little cockapoo pup from Kellie Bliss on 7/5/07.. I thought she was great, until I got my pup..
My pup sounded like she was congested so I took her to the vet. SHe has bronchitis, and he took and sent a fecal sample out. It cam back with Giardia 4 (which means over 50 eggs or parasites in the tiny smear, in other words A LOT!)
Also infested with Coccidia of 3 (11-50 parasites).. I am getting this information from the lab paperwork.
I wrote Kellie right away to tell her about the cough, then again when I got the lab report back and she has ignored me. I called, she ignored me. So now I am doing this, don't know if it will do anything but at least it will pop up in doing a search for her.
I own 17 dogs, from very young to age 13 years and both parasites are not only contagous to other dogs, but also to humans. Vet said what she has is kennel cough that turned to bronchitis.
I would LOVE to know how her vet could approve this baby to fly with that congestion, no way of missing it!
Now ALL of my dogs are getting it, and I pray the litter of pups I have don't get it. It is an airborne illness... And I am mighty angry. I have to treat all of my dogs and pups for 10 days for the parasites with 2 different very expensive medications! And I am still treating Angel for the bronchitis and she isn't any better. We have to try another anti-biotic. I have to watch her closely because she is a very small pup and it could turn to pneumonia.
It is really fun around here with several of my dogs catching the coccidia and giardia, can we say diarrhea? And lots of it!
She advertises mainly on puppyfind.com so if your looking for a pup and see her, run the other way. I had someone see my complaint about her elsewhere and she contacted me to tell me that she bought a pup and a couple days later she re-listed it.
She tried to contact Kellie and so she asked me what problems I had. I told her, and she told Kellie since she put her dog back or sale she wanted her money back...
Just not a good person to do business with... By the way, I NEVER wanted any money from Kellie and I told her that in my emails. I just wanted at first, for her to know since she had other pups. I am SURE she knew anyhow now..
When I found out about all the parasites and contacted, Yes I do believe she should repay me for medication... I would if it were me. But obviously she is not me..
