In August, we were contacted by Kellie Price from New York Financial Recovery who said she had an interested buyer for our Wyndham timeshare.
We were suspicious at first, but we asked very pertinent questions... Even tough questions... And she had the answer without hesitation every time.
We even made sure to find out contact info... And called the company phone number and spoke to this Kellie Price every time.
We had many conversations back and forth with this Kellie Price for at least a week. So, even though we were still a little leery, we started to believe this was legit.
On August 17, we sent our $2000.00 for them to complete the paperwork to sell our timeshare. We still had contact with this company rep. Kellie Price... Phone calls back and forth... Questions answered... Reassurances given. She said it would take 45-60 days or possibly even as long as 90 days to close on the timeshare.
It is now November 19 and we cannot get a return call from this company. We have been trying to speak to someone at the company since the end of October. The phone at the company rings and a very generic answering machine picks up without even giving the company name.
We have finally come the conclusion that we have been scammed. These people are really good and really convicing.
Hopefully, our story will stop others from making the same mistake. This a SCAM. Do not fall for this. Do NOT send money.
