Misleads consumers into subscribing with promise of free ringtones ripoff

I, like JackChgo (see report from 8/8/07), was also misled into signing up for a monthly subscription to ringtones. I would also never willingly subscribe to such a service! When I realized what had happened (approximately 30 seconds after "subscribing"), I immediately cancelled the subscribtion by texting "stop" as directed.

Flycell got the cancelation and agreed to stop my subscription, but would not agree to refunding the $10 for my 30 second accidental subscription. They, to this day, act completely entitled which further infuriates me. Thankfully, I spoke with AT&T and they kindly agreed to remove the charges from my bill, something that Flycell refused to do (just as they did with JackChgo).

Flycell is absolutely stealing money from people with their scam and they absolutely need to be stopped. $10 per poor unsuspecting soul adds up real fast folks! This type of blatant thievery can not be tolerated. I also appeal to law enforcement to take a look at this company and shut it down and am happy to help in any way possible.

Flycell has, as of 8-13-07,234 complaints on file with the Better Business Bureau (195 just in the last 12 months):
