FLYCELL offers free ring tones for your cell phone, but charges you even before you download any. I received a fraudulent offer from FLYCELL.com for 10 "absolutely free" ring tones. I started the subscription to download the ring tones and a few seconds later I got a text message saying the service had a $5.99 monthly fee. I immediately reply saying I did not want the service, so a few seconds later I got another message saying I had been "opted-out" and my subscription had been canceled. I never download anything from FLYCELL.
I thought it was that easy, but in my next cell phone statement I found a charge of $9.99 (not $5.99) for services provided by FLYCELL. My cell phone provider said they could not do anything and that I needed to contact FLYCELL myself to make sure my subscription was really canceled, or these people could continue to charge me the $9.99 monthly. I called them but they have a very poor customer service where the only thing you can do it's to leave a message in an answering machine, for which I never got a call back.
I guess it is very easy for these people to get away with this fraud, since they steal little amounts of money from so many people; so it is not worth it for everyone of us to seek for justice, but it does mean a lot of money for then after defrauding thounsands of people.
Stay away from all those "absolutely free" offers, specialy flycell. C
