500,000 People and 14 Years Later, Gorayeb Seminars Remains True to Its Original Mission: "To Provide Information, Education, and Training That Enables People to Improve Their Health and the Quality of Their Lives"
On January 11 I went to the Gorayeb Hypnosis Seminar to stop smoking at the Marriot Hotel in my neighboring town of Oxnard California. Like so many others, I also read in the paper that the hypnosis class was 110% Guaranteed and in 2 hours I would stop smoking or receive a full refund. And yes it's true that It did not mention to receive a refund that I would have to go to 2 more seminars if the first seminar failed to work.
So when I registered they took the news paper ad I brought with, put my name on it for a drawing to receive a fancy bonus gift (a free bottle of very expensive No-name vitamins with a cheap looking label on them). Woo-hoo!!! (By The Way: Only one person at the seminar got the bonus gift)
The majority of the time I was at the seminar, the doctor of hypnotherapy used wonderful illustrations and talked about what smoking does to your body and then proceeded to discuss certain kinds of vitamins that I should be taking to reduce and eventually completely eliminate my desire to smoke. And frankly, this was extremely informative and very helpful. It also gave credence to the high quality "Smoke-Away" vitamins I purchased a year and a half later and in fact worked out very well.
However, there wasn't any clues about vitamins any where around at the seminar when I went in to register and if there was I would have know immediately that this was a vehicle gimmick to sell product than merely just a fifty dollar class to adjust my subconscious state of awareness.
By the way, I am a profound believer in hypnotherapy and it does work if you believe in it and allow it to take control. Except in my case, getting ripped of by these people after buying their way over priced disgusting vitamins that made me sick to my stomach and gave me a terrible case of diarrhea every time I tried them, completely killed the whole experience for me.
Subsequently, I also called their toll free number to find out when the next seminar would return to my area so I could supplement my brain adjustment, but by the time they finally did return I was already a full fledge very upset that I let them take advantage of my good nature.
When I tried to find the website for these seminars, I also found the consumer complaintss like the one written from my hero Sharon Ward of Arkansas who completely confirmed verbatim exactly what I experienced. And likewise, I can't believe either that Gorayeb has been doing these seminars for so long and no one has exposed their poor quality vitamin scam.
In short, I sincerely recommend to everyone wishing to quit smoking, that you try the Gorayeb Hypnosis Seminar at least once and digest what they have to say. They do have great tools to help you quit smoking and the Hypnosis really works! But tell your classmates at the seminar "DO NOT BUY their rip-off poor quality vitamns cause they will make you sick, " but instead go investigate from your local health food store what your options are before getting sucked into buying a whole lot of low grade vitamins from the Gorayeb's scam plan.
Believe me, I give you the absolute truth about my beliefs and experience including both the good and the bad about this company. They sell valuable information along with the worst vitamin I have ever tried.
