In May of I recieved a "bill" from these scum bags. I told them that I did not order any advertising from them. I told them that Verizon was not in my local calling area, so why would I buy something from them. Well, 6 or 7 months go by and I get a collection notice for 128.00, then the calls started.
I sent a request for a signed contract that proves that I orderd this and they have refused. All I got from idearc was a "terms & conditions" document.
To top it all of, the collector now states that Verizon has "renewed" the advertising and has added another 189.00 to the bill. Verizon states that they sent a "renewal notice" and since I DID NOT RETURN IT, they assummed that I wanted to continue this adverising that I did not order in the first place. "hello". If i do not return something. I DONT WANT IT!
When something comes accross my desk that appears to be a solitation for advertising, I chuck it in the trash.
I have filed complaints with the FTC and the FCC.
