On the 6 Apr 07 AAA Van lines arrived at my home and packed up my furniture and moved it from Augusta, GA to Lawton, OK they did not tell me prior to moving me that I will be charged for Fuel which was $350.00 but on the quote that they emailed to me that there would not be any hidden charges but that was not told to me at all I was told by Mike D and Nicole that packing all my large furniture and fuel was included in the price. Also emails and before I made the reservation I made it clear that I would like the wieght tickets (empty/full) and I was told that I will recieve them upon delivery of my funiture.
On 27 Apr 07 they delivered all of my furniture most of my furniture arrived in great condition but when the movers was moving in my dresser they pulled so hard that top came off but then said that it will just pop back on and that all I need is some glue and it will be OK so they decided that they would not annotate it on the inventory sheet. So I called AAA Van lines and talked to Mike D and he said that he would send an email to whom I do not know but he annotated everything that was wrong. Also some of my bed's hardware was lost and my wall unit holes for the screws were stripped in three different places. I called AAA Van lines and talked to Mike D and he wrote another email about my problems with my move and my furniture. The driver Joe called AAA Van lines after trying assemble the wall unit and could assemble it talked to dispatch and they said that I can go out and get the things that is needed to fix everything and they will fix it, then when I called them back and they said that I can take the driver to local hardware store and he can buy all that things that are needed to fix the furniture and he will fix it. So then the driver called back and they said that I will buy everything and they will fix the furniture. I just said what ever and that was it. But before leaving I asked the drivers for the weight tickets and they said that they did not have them that I need to call the comapny and request them.
Because the person whom I talked to Tonya said the way to get them is that I have to email customer service. I have emailed this company at least 15 times to get weight tickets but they said that they recieved none of my emails. But the email I use will send a non delivery email back to me if they never recieved my emails. After hearing this I begin calling at least two to three times a day but they kept saying that they will send them. Finally they told what the real problem was on 17 May that they lost one of the weight tickets. So when I talked to the owner Nick he said that all he could find is one wieght ticket and that he can send it to me so then I asked if he could send it express mail he said and whom will pay for it I said that his company should because of the in convience that I was put in and he all he will do is regular mail it or fax it to me since I am so fed up with this company I said that they can just mail it to me.
