I was reading the Sunday paper and saw a pretty ring very inexpensive. So I called the number which was to the American Historic Society and placed my order. Well that took a bit as the customer service rep kept asking me over and over and over again if I wanted this that and the other thing and although I kept saying no I do not want ANYTHING else, she continued on and would talk fast and at the end she'd say ok? Hoping i'd slip up and say yes, I kept saying no.
Well, I got the ring it was nice and well worth the money. Then it all went bad! I kept getting jewelry I did not order and had over 80.00 yanked out of my checking account! I contacted customer service and adimitely told them I did not JOIN anything and why were they sending me things I didn't order and then taking money out of my Checking acct for these items? She told me to send the items back and they would refund my money.
Well I haven't gotten my money back as of yet and it has been almost 2 weeks. Then the other day someone from that company calls me! With an offer about a ring?! I said excuse me, but I was supposed to be taken off all of your calling lists! Then she tells ME to call customer service and take care of it. So I did and guess what? You can't ever get a hold of customer service its always busy.
Buyer Beware!
