Moving ripoff Screwed up the household stuff they were suppose to deliver properly during relocation

The order was placed at movingcost.com which is some sub-sidiary of nationwide relocation services. They are just a brokerage and not a actual moving company. They gave the order to Cross country van lines LLC.

Two guys came up to pick up the order. They came 2 hours late so my office got affected because of them. At the time of placing this order only i asked them to provide a very prompt and good service. But guys were okay and they picked up the stuff in best possible manner. They required some assistance but that was okay.

In the meanwhile as and when i called the customer service i have to really put a lot of efforts to find out my order then they you might hear a good laughter or hang the phone. They will never call u back in case the phone gets disconnected. And it's all after taking the advance and loading ur stuff-they will show the real colors.

There is no way i can track my stuff after that.
The driver call me up some 2 days before the delivery
and asked me to bring only cash and no other way he
is going to accept the money. Once i said that i have the money he came 1 day in advance to deliver the stuff.
The dispatch happened from 12:00 PM to 1:40 PM at Phoenix, AZ on 11th April. They took my stuff from New Jersey on 2nd April during 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

I am narrating the incident that happened at the time of dispatch on 11th April. First he (driver) took the money and he was the only person to unload the stuff. When i asked can u alone do it-he said i need to wait for 2 hours or otherwise i need to help him and let he only do the unloading. He was so rude and arrogant that i dont have words to describe it.

When i asked him to safely carry the boxes and goods without damaging the building structure he got very angry and threw the stuff in my apartment literally.
He approached me to hit me and started yelling.
Then i need to call the CCVL (Cross country van lines) LLC
at 1-800-650-8780.

His company folks wanted to talk to him but he didn't picked up the phone. Then i need to call the cops to avoid any mis-happenings and let my wife and kid to come out of the apartment as he lost his temper. He used a lot of abusing words also. That's not just it. He damaged the wall paints, herbs near the apartment as after getting the money he just wanted to get away from there.

Later he threw rest of the boxes all over the apartment.
Refused to assemble the Baby crib, my bed, baby swing, coffee table.

Whatever he didn't assembled, the parts are missing.
The sofa and love seat is also damaged.
Later he refued to give me any inventory.
When i checked it later... I feel there are two boxes also missing (i need to check it).

Though i called the Customer service of movingcost.com as well as CCVL LLC. The folks were polite and asked me to take the pictures and send it to them.in the meanwhile they will be sending me the claim forms.
But both the companies are not at all ready to take the ownwership and accountability.

I also called the movingcost.com customer service at 1-888-750-6683 but they simply gave me a reply that we are not the company who did the actual move. When they took my order they never told me about this otherwise
i would not have ever gone to them. It took 9 days for them to move the stuff from NJ to AZ.

My advice is never to go to nation wide relocation and movingcost.com they are just some intermediete brokerage company. The moment they got their money they wash their hands like anything. Movingcost.com already took 1/3 of the advance from my credit card before picking up my stuff.

But the service levels are really bad.

I have sent the pictures to [email protected], [email protected] and waiting for their claims.
My order no. With movingcost.com is 1893244-01 and my Job # 100758 (with CCVL LLC.). I placed the order
to movingcost.com and actual move was done by CCVL LLC.

Beware of "Nationwide Relocation Services"-they operate with multiple names.
You might get a lot of quotes but they might be some brokerage associated with Nationwide Relocation Services. Only after getting this move done i come to know about them.

I will recommend (ROR REDACTED COMPETITORS NAMES).
