I purchased a puppy from Mary Dygert of Temar Shepherds after having several conversations with her via email and phone. I believed at the time I was getting one of the best German Shepherds in the U.S.A. Little did I know Mary would back-out of our contract when she realized I received an ill puppy. I have several complaints against Temar Shepherds.
First, I told Mary right from the time I received my puppy that I had to make several emergency vet visits. The dog came off the plane with a swollen nose and mouth, lethargic, enlarged lymph nodes, and a temperature of 102 by the time I got to the vets. My puppy also came with coccidian.
Our contract stated that the pup was guaranteed to pass a health exam should the pup not pass the exam the seller will refund the entire purchase price. Mary made no effort to pay the vet bills or offer a replacement puppy or refund my purchase price of ridicules $2,500.
Second, I bought this puppy 03-10-04 after reading her web site and listening to her promises. On her website you will see it states all puppies come registered tattooed and AKC. My pup to this date is not AKC. Mary sent me false paperwork from CKC. This CKC paperwork is NOT for my dog. It shows a dog of a different name and tattoo. Mary claims this dog was born in Canada. I did not buy a dog from Canada. I did business with Mary Dygert in Oregon. Mary now claims I have to send the CKC paperwork in and spend more money. I don't understand her way of business. It's a rip-off. Buyers Beware!
Lastly, after contacting Mary on all these issues, she has become totally rude. Not the breeder who was so nice when trying to get my money. My dog is not of show quality as I paid for.
