I am not writing to bash 1Touch Marketing, as I believe it is a fine company. However, I was charged for an email campaign that had major problems.

First, 1Touch Marketing's policy, is to "test" the capture page to make sure it is working properly, before the email campaign goes out. If the capture page does not function, then what use is the email campaign, epsecially if the prospective customers cannot contact you since the capture page does not work?

The rep I worked with tried a couple of times to see if it worked and it never did, as verified in a few emails. Without this being resolved, the email campaign went out anyway. I was shocked that it did.

I then emailed my rep and asked him to verify that the capture page (information form) functioned before the campaign went out. He replied and stated, "I am sorry to inform you that the capture page did not work, etc." I was lucky that this rep was truthful, because no one else admitted this. My only demographics (customers) were physicians, and the email campaign went out to all of them in my particular geographical area.

Given this, I could not accept to do the campaign again, because it would not be effective, and being a licensed insurance agent, I could not risk being accused of spamming by the FTC or the Department of Insurance.

1Touch Marketing charges were $100 for the capture page and $900 for the email campaign. I disputed both charges because of my legitimate complaint. The $100 was credited, but the $900 remained. This does not make good business sense, because if the entire success was riding on the capture page (information form) functioning correctly, what use is the email campaign?

I realize that it is common for people to state harsh words on this site. However, I will not. I am emphasizing again, that 1Touch Marketing is a fine company. However, they made a mistake with my business, and I would like to be credited for the $900. When this is resolved, I will be more than happy to return here to confirm that I was treated fairly and professionally.
