I have recieved many letters from these people for the amount of $5,150 with threats of criminal actions against me including an arrest warrant. I contacted them and the company that I supposedly owe money too and they have no idea as to this allegation. I think this place is trying to scam honest people out of their hard earned money.
This so called Check Processing Bureau has refused to show me proof of this so called bad check other than to have my bank look this check up on microfilm that doesnt exist. They stated I would be allowed to view the evidence in court. I'll see ya there I said. I think they are hunting for account numbers from your bank.
I have contacted the Consumer Fraud Division of the Attorney Generals Office in New York about this. They have given me their fax number to send my complaint to and also a number to check on its progress. Fax number is 212-416-6003 and the follow up number is 212-416-8300.
