I was promised dsl internet service not only from comcast but from other companies from the internet saying that comcast offered it in my area and when it came time to actually getting comcast to come install the dsl they failed to saying that i want eligable only after i had paid for the modem that was required of their service. Now i am stuck with a cable modem that i cant use and no hope of getting the dsl that i desperatly need. This company leads you to believe that they will give you service when they are actually using false advertising just to lure you in so they can take advantage of you and take your money. If you have comcast for any reason i feel pitty on you i would not recommend them to anyone for any reason ever. I hope nothing like this ever happens to any one because all it is is a big hassle and a headache for them to lie about what they offer and where. The person that i spoke to over the phone said that i lived out of the service area but it they have service on the next street over, but it is to far for them to have to run a cable 100 yards to my house. Good Grief! How lazy is that! But he did appreciate my business... What buisness they refused it to me. Oh well i guess what they say is true "if its to good to be true than it probably is".
