Beware that Home Depot discounts returns without a receipt. This has happened several times and i refuse to shop there again. I purchased a Bathroom Vanity 249.00 and it had a broken (cracked door) I needed a replacement and they were Out Of Stock of the Cherry Wood but they had a Oak Wood. They offered $89.00 store credit card as i didn't have receipt. They will only give you store credit never a exchange.
I also bought a steel RH door for $129.00, got it home and needed a LH Door. Thinking there would be no problem as this were BRAND NEW. I didn't bother to locate my receipt as i just wanted to exchange LH Door. I were insulted by store managers to take $99.00 store credit card as the RH had different Number that were on their computer system so they will not exchange. I refused to take $30.00 less and pay $30.00 more for the exchange so I had to take the door back home 30 miles away. THEY MARK EVERYTHING DOWN FOR STORE CREDITS, They say if they have had a sale anytime in the past they can take the lowest price as your credit. THEY ALWAYS HAVE A SALE ON THEIR RETURN SYSTEM.

However, our policy is in place in order for Home Depot to be consistent company wide. This is something where we do not make exceptions.
I also want to report that I purchased a New John Deere Tractor.
Home Depot had to charge and service it before I took it home. I got it home to find out that it would not start the next day.
I noticed that the battery were dead and tried to return it to Home Depot. Home Depot said I would have to go to John Deere service center to get a replacement battery. John Deere service told me when i got there that I did not have a John Deere Tractor battery that should of been on a new Tractor. I didn't want to be insulted by Home Depot again so I bought a new battery from John Deere. I got home and the Lawn Tractor would not start. I had to return the Tractor to John Deere for Service and they repaired the gas problems as everything were gummed up from old gas. John Deere said this were not under warranty and I had to pay for repairs.
Home depot sells old equipment as new.
I didn't do much about this but i think this is fraud. If this tractor were not running as a new tractor why did Home Depot sell it?
Beware home depot as they rip off!
