Pro Earth Landscaping was contracted to begin work on a landscaping project at 1569 Martingale Court in Carlsbad California on 12/12.
Pro earth installed both a natural gas fire pit and a built in natural gas barbecue. Both units worked fine for a few months and then stopped.
I called Pro Earth to come out and fix the unit. They found that water had gotten into the gas. They hooked a machine up to the lines and blew the water out. Again the units worked fine... For a few weeks.
I again called Pro Earth and they again came out and blew the water out of the line. This process repeated even up to May. I spoke to the president of Pro Earth, Vern Holtz about this situation and asked him why an inspected gas line would lose it's seal and allow water to seep in. He stated to me that he no longer uses the same underground gas pipe material that he used on my property because of problems like mine. Now he wants me to pay to repair the underground pipes. I disagree.
I contend that Pro earth used improper installation techniques, and is now sticking me for the cost of fixing this issue. I intend to make it known to everyone I can that Pro Earth is not a customer focused business and will not follow through on any repairs once they get paid.
I have filed a report with usacomplaints.com on Pro Earth Landscape.
