My wife and I signed up as distributors for For Earth in January. We built a good organization and had quite some sales going in our downline.
Shortly after we signed up as distributors the company decided to use a debit card company for paying the affiliate commissions. They also gave us the option to have a check sent to us with a fee of $ 5 each time. They clearly forced you to use the debit card company if you would not have more deductions on your payments.
The commissions started adding up on our debit card but we did not use it until early summer. When we wanted to use it the first time we found out that the debit card company did not exist anymore because they filed for bankruptcy. Neither the debit card company nor For Earth saw a need to inform their affiliates about the situation.
When we tried to recover our commissions from For Earth they hided behind their status saying they already paid the commissions and they are no longer liable for anything else.
In our opinion For Earth did not due their due diligence by using this debit card company that neither had insurance nor were they bonded. We think For Earth just gambled with their affiliate commissions by using such a service, and now they don't want to deal with their affiliates any longer.
We strongly suggest that before getting involved with this company make sure your affiliate commissions are secured. There are other much better MLM companies out there that are loyal to their affiliates.
