RE/MAX of NY fraudulently and deceitfully induced me to purchase a RE/MAX franchise and enter into other RE/MAX related agreements, and ultimately breached every agreement! Specifically, I entered into a Recruiting Services Agreement, whereby RE/MAX NY contracted to provide recruiting services for my new franchise, said services were never provided. Secondly, I entered into an Internet Strategy Agreement with RE/MAX NY, whereby RE/MAX NY was to provide my new RE/MAX franchise internet exposure and provide me with leads on properties in my exclusive area, specifically Ulster County, New York. RE/MAX NY never provided me the internet exposure as promised and in fact diverted my listings and leads on Ulster County properties to a competing neighboring RE/MAX office in Orange County, New York.
My entire relationship with RE/MAX NY was permeated with fraud. I have detrimentally relied on the many hollow promises of RE/MAX NY. On numerous occasions, I tried to amicably resolve these issues with the president and vice president of RE/MAX NY; however, they were always too busy to accommodate me or made excuses for their shortcomings. Ultimately, I had to file a lawsuit against RE/MAX NY and RE/MAX International.
