I was a sprint customer for approximately six years. I moved to Florida where I could get no service. I waited for my contract to expire In october before changing my service. Prior to my contract expiration, I recieved a letter in the mail that stated I renewed my sprint contract for another two years. I immediately called sprint customer care to inquire because at no time were changes made to my account nor did i renew my contract. The representative informed me that it was a mistake and the he was placing a high priority note on my account stating the mistake and that the old expiration date of October was valid. I spoke with sprint on several occasions after that to confirm that the information was correct before changing my plan to T-mobile December 26. On January 19,007, I recieved a final bill from sprint charging me early terminations fees on all six of my phones. I immediately called to determine why this had happened and was informed that there was no record of any calls made to them regarding the mistake or the correction.in fact, there were notes on converstations that never took place, yet no notes on conversations that I had with them. I asked to speak to managers and was given the run around. I asked to speak to the legal department and was transferred back to customer service where i remained on hold for 45 minutes and never got a response before finally hanging up. I did not make any changes to my plan nor did I authorize any new contract with sprint.
