First off. I signed up for their services. Big mistake! I have tried to cancel but because of a non-cancelable agreement I was unable too! So I got stuck paying $2663.52 for a non-cancelable 4 year contract. So I have been paying $55.49 that they withdraw direct from my business account since 07/07/05. Being new at the time and knowing what I know now. I feel that I got ripped off for a service that is only worth $300.00.
So I continue to pay. December 20th I changed my bank to address issues better to where my money is going. Well January 7th I get a letter in the mail from Lease Finance Group LLC. Collection Department explaining that the direct debit is invalid and they want their money ($55.49). Also I am told to respond in a timely matter to prevent any additional collection activity. So I did
January 8th I send them out a check for the amount owed. The same day, Lease Finance Group calls my home where they harassed my sick mother who I been taking care of. They want to speak to me, know where I was and how they could get their money. Well, I'm at work! They continue to harass her by calling her both in person and by automated means 5 times on the 8th. So she gives them my cell phone number.
January 9th. First thing: in the mourning. I have a message left on my cell phone. Lease Finance Group leaves me a message to give them a call back immediately to resolve the issue that I owe them money. I call them back; might I say that they are very nasty people with piss poor customer service. I explain to them that the check is on the way and that I had switched banking accounts. Ok, well thought matters were taking care of.
Ok. 20 minutes later after I hang up I get another call from the Lease Finance Group. It is automated and then hangs up. So I call back. I spoke with a representative and explained that I just got off the phone with them and that the money was on the way. I also asked nicely for them to stop calling. Lease Finance Group's response was that they were not going to stop calling me until they received their money.
Ok! Then I asked to speak to a manager. They place me on hold and then the call was directed straight to a voice mail. So I leave a message; saying who I was, the check was on the way and to stop calling me and hounding me for the money. I thought that was kind of wired that there was not a manager working.
So I continue to get calls from Lease Finance Group. I feel nothing is done on their end! So I call them back! They are like; oh we spoke this mourning. I ask them to speak to a manager. They put me on hold again and then I was switch over to a bogus voice mail. So I leave a nasty message. Stop calling! By now I am sick and tire of them and their worthless customer service. They still continue to still call!
So I call them back again. They hang up on me. I call back! By this time it is 7:00 PM January 9th. Well I guess they tired of me calling back. They pick up. I tell them stop calling. Their response; we are not going to stop calling until we get our money.
To sum everything up they continue to still call and pester me both in person and automated 8 times today. They have most likely reported me to the credit agencies.
They don't practice under the fair debt collection act. And most of all they rip people off. Because of rip-off people like this it make it very hard for small business owners like my self to function. Something needs to be done like justice! Please Help!!!
