I was a victim of identity theft. Cingular wireless was one of the accounts opened in my name. I filed charges and the man was arrested, he paid the bills off. Cingular will not provide me any info on the account. They would not send me any bills or paperwork on the account. It is the only negative item on my credit report. I have disputed it, even listing the name of the District Attorney that had the case with his phone #. They have refused to remove it. What can I do? I have been violated, and cannot do anything about it.
