Doesn't pay claims when they don't delive

I own a business in shipping flowers all over the U.S. I have used Fedex for years to deliver my product. This past Valentine's Day Fedex screwed up by thier own admission. They did not have enough lift to get the flowers out. I had approximtely $20,000 in flowers left over night in Fedex's warehouse. They were not delivered on time. The peple who expected the flowers to be delivered to them went and bought them elsewhere.

I paid extra to insure these boxes because each was worth far more than $100. Fedex is declining all claims. They say they are not responsible if the flowers were no good after 48 hours in transit. I told them it made no difference if the flowers were good or not my customers had bought them elsewhere.

They collected premiums for insurace and WILL NOT PAY when claims are filed. They have gone so far as to attempt to collect the freight charges on these boxes. I am being cut off and reported to credit agencies.
Do not ever give Fedex the extra insurance charge. Unless you absolutely, positively need to be ripped off.
