I am writting about Nco Financial. This all stated about 4 months ago. My husband got a phone call from a very rude individual asking to speak with my mother. He explained to her that she had the wrong number and that was his mother in-law. She then aske him to take a message for her he said that he would give it me "his wife" and I would call her back. Which I did and I explained to this women that she is not to call us for a debt or anything that my parent owe. I also asked how exactly she got ahold of my husbands number. She explained that they ran a background check on my parents and his number came up. No I know that is not true at all. MY husband and I had only been married for about 6 months and just moved into our new home. I then explained to her that we did not want her calling any member of my husbands family she claimed that they had a right to if they wanted. She then asked me to give a message to my mom I explained to her that I would not do any such thing and that she would have to call the number that she had on record for her. She then told me that she couldn't believe that I wouldn't want to help my parents with their debt and I was an ungreatful daughter. I said your right now stop calling myself and my husband. It stopped untill yesterday when my mother in-law called stating that some one has left several messages on her answering machine asking her to call them back about My mother. I have called the company again asking them again to not call any member of my husbands Family she claimed this time that my parents but the number down as a contact. Which I know is untrue becuase my parents do not have my mother in-laws number. I am very frustrated and feel that this is not legal. I am at my witts end for my parents and for the fact that these people keep calling my in-laws. There has to be some way for this to end. I have also just been told by my mother that apparently they have called their neighbors. Asking them to give my parents a message. This has to be Illegal in some way. Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.
