I contacted guardsman to correct a problem with a seem in my leather couch and sofa. There process to place a claim is Absolutely ridiculous. I had filled out a form mail it to them for review.
They denied it because the damage was not done by a human error. So if i lied on the form and said i pilled something on it and cut it with a knife it would be covered. How stupid is that! My request in the 5 days of first concidering it a problem. I stated that I did follow your procedures once I believed it was a problem with the seem.
You call the 1-800-253-3957 and you cannot discuss your denial with anybody. You have to submit another letter to go infront of a board for review. They spend more time fighting you then just backing there product.
If you notice i used half of the other report because we were treated ecactly the same way. Needless to say if you go to buy furniture and they try to sell you a guardsman protection plan dont walk, run to the nearest exit!!
