Hi there, I want to tell you my overall experience with GQ IMPORTS. I believe that any of you hear my story, You will laugh your heart out because of embrassment that i have faced with this company.
First of all, I replied to the company on Careerbuilder.com because it said that they need people for the areas of Customer Service, Warehouse/Distribution as well as Office Opportunities. I believe that however they advertised these opportunities on the Website is totally misleading. Totally unprofessional, They are confusing people who are looking for full time work in a way where you expected something based on the position on the website is not what u expect.
Let me try to explain more briefly, I chose the position as Warehouse/Distribution where i can just sit in the Warehouse and work but i never expected myself based on my choice that I have to go out and sell Cheap Toys on the streets even though the same items can be sold at the stores. I was so frustated that when i wanted to speak for myself, I just couldnt. I just sat there in a way where i was so pissed off in terms of how they treated me on my second interview. They thought just by explaining what they actually do, they will make u waste 6 and half hours worth of your time just to go to business to business to sell these products. And let me tell you, People on the streets thought we were so dumb because of the way were bothering people to conduct business door to door. They were looking at us like were too crazy selling these stupid items on the streets. I was like wait a minute, Im thinking in my mind that this company does not actually know how to get the trust from outsiders on the streets.
SO WHY THE HELL AM I HERE? This is not me? I just wanted to tell everybody who applies for the JOB, you will be devestated in terms of how they explain about the company and waste 6.5 hours of your time that you never expect. You people will be considered smart to not take JOB OFFER that they offered you because if you do. You will be a total IDIOT. Just to put you all on the safe side, dont be such a fool for this company. Its a total scam?
