I was surprised when I did a search on Image Imports after I already excepted the position at the company. I read a bad business report about Image Imports on this website. My heart felt like it was in my stomach, I thank Chris in Manchester, NH for putting his comments on this website, or I would have made the worst decission in my career. I was lucky to get the info on Image Imports.
I too, expercied the same as Chris, 15 minute first interview. Then the same day I got a call back and they told I was 1 of 20 to be called back. I thought at the time it was great news and I was surprised to get a call back. I came back for an all day interview with the company and it seemed to be exciting job. I accepted the position on the spot and gave my company I was working for at the time a two week notice. The day after I gave my notice I decided to do a search on Image Imports to see what I could learn about the company. When I read Chris's comments I was sick to my stomach and thankful he took the time to warn others about the bad business strategies at this company.
After I read Chris's warning, I made a call to the company and talked to the man who hired me. I was asking him questions about money and he repeated back everything I told him I needed to make. I asked if it was commision only and he said yes, contradicting what he said at the interview. I realized everything he said to me on the interview was twisted around and he really did not want to answer any questions I was asking.
Working long hours, 10 a day to make a crappy commission is not my cup of tea! I really thought it was a great opportunity, but Chris's experience was everything I experienced on my interview it was scary. Anyone reading my message or Chris's, please do not wate your time for a job at Image Imports.
Thank you complaint for this opportunity to get my message out. Also, thank you Chris, I would of made a bad carreer choice if it wasn't for your warning!
