We came in contact with this company through the internet, through jennyspeedmoving.com and jenny and tom smith were the contact person.
We were given an estimate of moving our stuff from Texas to California and promised that it will arrive in 7 to 10 days. The movers came in on May 28 and ask us to sign an empty contract sheet with only the given estimate in it before they will load.
After loading our stuff they tack on about $4000 of extra charges and Tom ask for half of the amount before even considering moving it eeventhough we had a clear agreement that I'll pay via credit card. So I ended paying him $3500 through Western Union and we were promise that our stuff is to arrive in 7 to 10 days.
We have contacted the company on June 5,11, 18 and 23 to ask for our stuff. They been giving us the run around and now they tell us that they have asked another company to move it for them. We have been talking to Joe Panida and Dan Rubin after they told us that Tom Smith does not work there any more and Jenny is suddenly out of the picture. Please help use in any way.
The money is now secondary. We just want our stuff back. My family have been eating and sleeping on the floor since they took our stuff and they keep promising that it is arriving soon. HELP PLEASE
