I was looking for a white AKC female Pomeranian and checked our local newspaper's website. Well, I found a few ads for pomeranians. All the white pomeranians looked very much alike which in itself is very strange. The contact were all different, but no phone numbers were listed. The Sellers could be contacted via email.
Well, I made contact with one of the apparent Sellers and she sent me an email I will provide below. When I saw that Cameroon was part of her mailing address, I became suspicious because I remember reading something about Cameroon and puppy fraud. I suspected that she was trying to get money out of me so I asked her for more pictures of the puppy. Then another email to her asking to see pictures of the Sire and Dam. She told me that she had no pictures of the Sire and Dam (suspicious). Later, she sent me other photos of the puppy which I recognized from other web sites many months ago. The same picture... (Suspicious).
I am certain this person is advertising White Pomeranian pup for sale on the www.startelegram.com internet site. I called the Star Telegram and they told me that anyone in the world could advertise on www.startelegram. Star Telegram told me that their site is not policed and to be careful and to NEVER send money to anyone who is not local and who asks for Western Union Money.
