There was an add in the Thrifty Nickel stating that you could get free money. I called the toll free number provided a representative came on and asked was I a U.S. Citizen and asked if I made an income of $5000 or more a year I could apply for this free money so I said yes. I went through the survey they asked me and I paid $299.97 and within six weeks I would receive a grant of $5000 or more or I would get my money back except $29.95. They gave me a verification number a period of time past and then in about two months I recieved some paperwork to return as soon as possible and to call when I had sent it back to them and I did.in about another two months they contacted me again with more paperwork to do. After filling out the second set of papers I talked to a representative to see how long it would take for me to receive my money and he said it would only take six weeks and after that I could never contact them again. I tried to call back but the line was disconnected.
