This company is a rebate ripoff company. They denied me a 100 dollar rebate because of a so-called deadline. I missed it by 10 days.
They make you jump throuigh hoops and circles to apply for the rebate, requiring much private information. They want drivers license, personal bills, you have to used registered mail to send it in. The clincher is it is a delayed rebate of eleven months..
I didnot realize this and is probably the reason I missed their deadline. I personaaly don't think it would have mattered because they would have found another reason to deny the claim.
I had to send in the very same information that I sent the first time and also send as registered mail. They denied $330 dollars to a neighbor because he did not want to send the personal information. They also denied someone else who reported to you because they said his drivers license did not prove his address. This is all pettiness and a ripoff, why do they even bother to offer such a confusing and difficult rebate if they have no intentions of paying over pettiness.
Please try to do something about this and save other people the time and trouble.
The dealer I bout the product from did not mention anything about how this worked and would not take back the product when I tried to return it. I no longer wanted to return the merchandise and not participate in this scam, burt he refused.
I reported him to the bbb but am getting nowhere.
