Ok so i was hired as a sales rep for Horizon Foods. When i was hired they said i had to put up 500 dollars for a truck deposit and that i would get it back if i ever left. Well when i found out that this job wasnt for me they said i would get it back within 21 business days. Well i never got it. I called and they said the money was for training me or some bull crap.
That is only the begining. They wanted me 2
sell steaks and other food that is way 2 over priced. They said there prices were discounted from Omahas price, but its actually based off made up prices. Also they said there meat is all Prime but its Choice. I bought a box of there so called chopped steak burgers and my whole immediate family got sick.
This is not a legit business. I recommend if a sales rep comes to your door that you tell them your not interested and notify the police. They scam there employes and there customers. How do i know this??? Because i started up my own business and i get better food for a whole lot cheaper.
All in all i am doing good. I started up my own meat company and have a good product for a whole lot better price. All of my product comes from the Chicago Stockyards Packing Company. Check us out.
