Another small business, retiree hopeful, cant get the Valuation Report fee back, as promised in the contract. I too did not meet ONE person interested in my business. I was given the phone numbers of a few suspected "plants" or "fishermen", but certainly nobody in the slightest bit really interested in acquiring my technical business. At the time of contract, when I asked what "qualified buyer" meant, I was told someone who had the money and skill to acquire my type of business. Again I say... I did not meet one qualified buyer. I am afraid, I too, have been had.
Instead of complaining like everyone else, I am hoping to get information and turn the heat up (1) to get my money back or atleast make these guys spend my money defending themselves rather than drinking pina coladas on me. (2) warn others before they get to my point of frustration (3) make sure these guys cant keep taking advantage of the small business community. $6,500 is alot of money to me; not to mention the time!!!
I read there is a federal class action suit. How can I get involved in it?
Any useful information to be shared would be greatly appreciated.
I like to believe their is strength in numbers and justice will prevail.
