Was the job on Monster.com I thought I was applying for. It turned out to be a big scam and a RIP-OFF of my time and gas money!
I sent my resume to PremierHQ and received an email back within 24 hours.
"This letter will serve as a confirmation for your scheduled interview with us August I would like to remind you to bring a copy of your resume. Listed below

I went to the interview. They were located in a business park in Tigard, Oregon. I had trouble finding the suite for Wheeler Imports due to the fact the sign over their office read:? Toy World of Oregon, Inc.? It struck me as strange that something simple like the sign over the door was not Wheeler Imports, and in the end I see it as an omen of what this company turned out to be.
The main office of this? Successful? Company had blaring music that was very unprofessional. All of the furniture looked like it came from a garage sale.
I noticed the poster on the wall that said:? Risk.?
Yet another omen.
I filled out the job application/questionnaire. They asked all sorts of information about my vehicle. Why did they need to know so much about my car?
They asked for my SS# too.in this day and age of ramped ID theft, I felt they were asking too much up front. Who are these people? What are they going to do with my info?
After about a 45 minute wait with the blaring music, I got my 15 minute interview. He said his name was Jerry Wheeler, but he could have been Satan himself, since there were no business cards with anyone's name on them. All generic cards with just the company name and logo on them.
? Jerry? Did not ask me anything relevant to the? Job? I was applying for. He only wanted to know what my 3 biggest strengths were. He did not say at any point what the? Job? Was and did not let me ask any questions.
I was told to come back the next day for a? Second interview.? It would be from 9am to 630pm and to wear comfortable shoes.
I walked out of there still wondering what the actual job I was applying for was!
I called the company again and asked just what exactly the details of this? Job? Where? The receptionist did not have an answer, so she transferred me back to? Jerry? Who said it was:? Sales? Business to business.? I asked if this was? Canvassing? And he said it was? Sales.?
Well now, in my book, going door to door, or business to business trying to talk some sucker into buying the crap this company is peddling? That is called CANVASING!
My personal opinion is that working for companies like this would not be so bad if they were up-front and honest with you to begin with and would pay you for the time and work you put in.
I went home and proceeded to do some research on this? Wheeler Imports.? I didn't find much on their website, but I sure found a lot on the complaint!
In reading the MANY other entries on the complaint, it was like experiencing the nightmare over and over! They use so many different names! JSM International has an identical website as Wheeler Imports. The only difference is the names!
I am so thankful for the complaint, and so glad I didn't go back for another shovel full of what they are selling!
