A collect appeared on our telephone bill that we were to have received from a local (same area code) payphone for $12.15 for one (1) minute. We did not accept any such call.
I placed a call to the carrier (Legacy Long Distance) to have this removed and they argued with me saying we must have accepted the call if we were charged. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said he was one and there was no one else to talk to, I had to pay for the call.
I then called their office in Cypress CA and was immediately put to voice mail. No call back. I've contacted the FCC as well.
