I used my phone calling card at a pay phone to call home from a neighboring city. The call did not cross area codes or county lines. The total distance is just a few miles.
That call was intercepted and placed with Legacy Long Distance, International, despite that there is no long distance involved.
Normally, that call would have cost just thirty-five cents. When ZPDI billed me for it on behalf of Legacy, I was charged $1 per minute! This outrageous overcharge, without announcement or my permisssion, amounts to a 5000% profit for Legacy. That ain't right!
