I guess I'm not alone! I had some problems with my phone lines after returning from a two-week trip. My intralata (sp) (in state) long distance was gone and a recording directed me to Qwest who informed me I had bigredwire.

I went to the website, HAD been a customer about four years ago, logged in, and told them to NOT switch me to their service.

They did the exact opposite, my intralata and longdistance was switched to BRW. I lost my great rate with AT&T. They are now billing me, as my old credit card from before is now inactive.

Forget about calling them too! That number is good only if you know "your party's extension." The general mailbox IS NEVER CHECKED!!!

They never went through the third party verification process, and I, too, have left a complaint with the FCC.

My last email to them is if they bill me again, I will take them to small claims court, as I'm sure they never read the emails I send them (I even copied an email address posted here from a supposed worker for BRW) as they never talk about or answer my questions. Just pay up!

A Class Action Suit may make them wake up, I think.
