We contacted Richard regarding an english mastiff puppy on the web and personally emailed him at [email protected] and he referred us to a man he addressed as Rev. Father who has bought the last puppy and was unable to keep him and needed to sell him because he has to go away to a missionary trip in another. So we contacted the Rev. Father and told him I interest in buying the puppy we didn't know at the time it was a scamm. Now we know it is. He never said the puppy was out of the country.By email he told us to send money 600.00 dollars by western Union which is what we did and he call us and told us to send the m number so he could get the money and we did. This 600.00 dollars included shipping and handling. August 3
Once the money was sent he said we could have the puppy within 24 hrs. So we waited to here from this Rev. Father and when we did here from him he sent us an email with attachment saying that the puppy was shipped out from Benin at 19:16 according to the North America Airline wi will be deivered to us in N.Y.
This was on August the 4th. 2006
There was never a phone number
Aug 5 he emailed us and said the puppy was being held over in Ghana because of quarentine Licenses. He asked us to send another 200.00 dollars.
We requested a phone number and a routing statment regarding the puppy and he sent us this address to send the money Ghana Custom the person we were sending the money to is Arogundade Taofeek Ayofe, Address: Achimota road, Accra, Ghana, 00233 we didn't send him anymore mone and we are still waiting to here from the Rev. Father. We all so sent richard and email but he never responded either. And for some odd reason he asked us to keep the email private I thought that was odd. They were both in it together we are out of 600.00 dollars and a puppy I hope you follow threw with this scamm and I hope they are found and prosecuted. We are very hurt and we had saved that money just to buy a puppy.
