Their equipment is also at least 14 years old and sounds like CRAP! Yesterday was our Daughters wedding. All we asked them to do was mic the minister and have a handheld mic for the father of the groom. The ministers mic kept cutting in and out during the ceremony and the handheld mic didn't work at all. The sound that did come out of their old beat up speakers was loud and not clear at all to the point of distortion.
We asked to do a sound check a couple of times before the ceremony but the lady was on her cell phone most of the time I believe trying to secure another job. When she finally did do a sound check for us she blamed the terrible sound on the fact that we were outside and that the mic was picking up outside noise. It's called CHEAP OLD equipment! We asked if she had an EQ and she said "yes" but she didn't seem to know how to use it. We tried to notch the distortion out of it a little but even the three songs that we asked her to play sounded distorted so I believe that her equiptment was pretty shot.
During the in home consultation we did ask her what kind of equipment she had and she said that Rex took care of that. We never met Rex or ever talked to him. I asked if she could give us a list of their equipment but we never received one.
Oh yea, they charged us $750.00 to play three songs and mic the ceremony which lasted maybe 30 min. Tops. After the ceremony she fled without even saying goodbye or telling anyone that she was leaving.
If you are reading this you are obviously doing your homework on this company. PLEASE don't consider using CD TOONS / CDTOONS because we regret ever signing a contract with them. We were stupid to sing them based on someones word but believe me we could have done a lot better for a lot less.
