A Fine Image has been reported on various different web sites as being a bait and switch operation. Their typical practice is to loure customers in with the promise that their event, be it a bat/bar mitzva, wedding, etc., will be photographed by Jennifer Jakulyte, the excellent photographer who happens to be the wife of the owner. Shortly before the event Mark S. Zaki informs the customer that the event will be shot by another, less experienced photographer and claims that there was never any implication that Jennifer would shoot the event in the first place.

The bait and switch is a common practice for photographers across the country. This can be avoided by altering the contract before it is signed to eliminate the clause "the company will asign any photographer it chooses, " as well as any other ambiguous language.
