Company is not truthful with ad practices. Advertised prices were 3 bedroom/2 bathroom for $65, with a $10 discount on the first visit ($55). Ad also had a price of $75 for 2 people, 2 hours up to 2000 square feet. (I have this in writing, so I am not sure how they are denying it).
When we called, they quoted us verbally $115 for 2 people for 2 hours and only said they would honor their prices after I told them I had a copy of the ad which I faxed to them. But in the same breath they said they would honor the ad - they said they wouldn't do business with me. Go figure!
According to their response to the complaint I filed with the BBB, I was being argumentative. Gee - I was asking they honor their advertised prices, how wrong of me! If it tells you anything about this guys mentality (or lack thereof) He also said in his response "they don't have to work for free". No one was asking for that - I was asking they honor THEIR OWN advertised prices.
We wanted to see if this was the standard at their company so I had someone else call 2 days later. They had the EXACT SAME scenario!
This is your standard bait and switch. Don't get taken advantage of. As a side note - this company has had over time a terrible record with the BBB— though some complaints have been wiped off over time, they at one time had the worst rating you could get in CA, a FF.
