I just found these reports and apparently I am not the only one that was lied to. All the same lines were given to me by Mellette: She's perfect, all jobs pay $600-1200, I only have 3 spots I'm filling and I want her... Blah blah blah. The pictures that were taken? In an outfit that was too big for her and from the shoulders up mostly??? How does a catalog sell childrens clothing when you can't see the clothes!?!
It took me calling 4 different times before my daughters picture was up on their website. Not one phone call. "It takes time" I'm told... Time to what? Make sure I give up and don't fight back? I want the jobs I was promised or my money back. I have more professional pictures of my daughter that have been taken with a disposable camera!
I am reporting these people to the Better Business Bureau and contacting the state to see what further I need to do to stop this disgusting and unethical behavior.
Oh, and by the way, Mellette is no longer there... Did she get a conscious or did someone threaten her?!!
Anyone that has been able to successfully get their money back or who can tell me what else to do, please: I want to hear from you!
