Wow, I am kicking myself that I didn't do a quick internet search prior to going to the 'second meeting' today, but at least I managed to 'escape' without signing anything. I was given a special exemption from bringing my wife with me today since she is due to give birth any day now and this gave me the ability to get out of the Haldane office without signing anything since I would need to discuss any expense of $9,500 bucks!!! They wanted me to take her to lunch to discuss it and then come right back to the office where I could put the whole thing on my credit card and get started right away. I would have loved to have printed out the complaints and put them in the folder of BHA letters today... Oh well. I'm sure they will call me on Monday to follow-up and I can't wait to tell them that we are totally onto their scam. They try to make it seem so professional and formal, but do not be fooled. One little touch that I particularly liked was when the secretary called me yesterday to "confirm the appointment date and time." Gee, just like a really big professional company! Thank you so much for giving me a really good laugh reading the reports and the re-assurance that I made a good decision escaping from their offices today with my bank account intact!
