I signed up for a free trial with Surplus Support, a company that offers to help people selling on eBay with advice about doing so, as well as access to many surplus companies' lists of current inventory. I'd never claimed to have any interest in becoming an eBay seller full time. All I wanted to do was to make a little extra money occasionally. The company sent me a DVD that doesn't play at all, whereas all other DVD's play just fine on my computer.
Then they followed up with a call from Phil Ganuscia, who bombarded me with questions as to my willingness to show a real commitment by investing over a thousand dollars in their program. I said that was not my interest and asked him not to continue my subscription past the free trial period, and he replied, "You're stuck where you're at, Dana!"
I got another call a couple of weeks later, from someone who semi-apologized on behalf of Ganuscia and the company and promised to send out a working DVD. No such thing ever arrived, they are continuing to take money out of my credit card account, and I can find no way to contact them.
