I saw an ad in the local paper for mystery shoppers and called. They immediately sign you up for the Mystery shoppers part called Proshoppers Online. They say its supposed to be $60.00 but have a one time special deal for $20.00 plus $9.95 a month till you cancel. Fine, I agreed to that.
Then they try to set you up with some supplier called Surplus Supplier for another $29.95. They talk real fast and confuse you and even though I questioned the amounts and said I only wanted to pay the original $29.95 they signed me up anyway. They tried to sell me on some Vacation thing too.
Now I get a billed on my credit card for Proshoppers online and for Surplus Supplier. Three charges of $29.95,29.95 and 1.95??? Of course when you call them on it they give you all that double talk that you agreed to it all and they have you on tape, etc. And refuse to take the charges off. They tell you to call Surplus Supplier on your own and they refuse to help you too.
It is a real rip off because they don't set you up with jobs in the first place. You have to put a resume online and find the jobs. They say you get $50.00 for each time you shop but you only get maybe $10-$20.00 and you have to buy something that you probably can't return.
Meantime you are paying $9.95 a month for Proshoppers and another for Surplus Supplier???
This company should be shut down. They should not be allowed to dupe people like this. Be warned!
